Absolutely loved this little hidden gem. We went to try the mini golf and ended up spending over an hour on the grounds. Played a round of golf on this amazingly cute little course, then got some chicken fingers, which were delicious and just the right size, then we played a game of corn hole, which they just have on thr property to enjoy. Was a Absolutely delightful afternoon escape. We will definitely be back.
Nice little place to grab a bit to eat and take a bread on your roadtrip. Mini golf is fun for kids and adults. 3 and under is free.
You can’t really go wrong with syl’s. The vibes are great, the ice cream and milkshakes are great. I do think the portions aren’t overly generous for the price, more in line with a busy ice cream place in the city. The staff can be a little off putting admittedly but I’d be too if I was trapped in an unventilated box like that. It’s a cool place, I think it’s till worth it.
mini golf was so cute! it's 9 per game and if you get a hole in one on the 18th hole (there will be sirens), you get a free game. food was great. ordered the super Syl's burger, the fish dinner with onion rings and a strawberry milkshake. loved the burger, the fish dinner had 2 small pieces of fish, it won't be enough if you're hungry. it tasted pretty good though. i think the highlight were the washrooms - they were very clean, spacious and new
This place just has a great, old school feel. I'm celiac and was able to order a bunless burger with fries and had no reaction, doesn't mean there is no cross contamination, but I did not react. Milkshake was amazing as well. We came for the amazing mini golf and stayed for the food. Great afternoon outing, will definitely return!
Great food, friendly service, and fun atmosphere make Syl’s one of our favourite places for a family outing! My favourite menu items are the double cheeseburger, mocha milkshakes, and onion rings. My kids love the chicken nuggets! The mini golf is absolutely fantastic too! I think it’s the best one in Manitoba. I am always so impressed by the cleanliness of this facility. I highly recommend Syl’s for a great time and a tasty meal!
I can't review the food as I'm severely allergic to eggs and peanuts, so I'm leaving it blank. Otherwise, though, it's a nice place to go for ice cream or a meal in the summer. The mini golf is a nice addition with the theme of a 1950's/60's gas station and garage.
The mushroom burger was terrible. Canned mushrooms in a soupy sauce with a boiled or microwaved beef patty placed in a stale bun. Not great. The onion rings, hotdog fries and shakes were great. A lot of room to sit, gazebo in the back. clean bathrooms, next to mini golf . I was terribly disappointed in the food but the stuff was fantastic and the atmosphere was great .
